Crockpot Pulled Pork (Easy Pulled Pork Recipe)

  • 1 Slow cooker
  • 1 Tongs
  • 2 Forks


  • 2.5 pounds pork loin roast
  • 1.5 cup BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper


  • Mix BBQ sauce, beef broth, and brown sugar together in a bowl, then add in garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir to thoroughly combine.

  • Add pork loin roast to the slow cooker. Cover with the BBQ sauce mixture.

  • Cook on High for 4 hours. Turn 2 to 3 times while the pork cooks to ensure it cooks evenly. When you turn it, begin shredding the pork by pulling it apart with 2 forks.

  • After 4 hours, turn the slow cooker to Low and cook another 45 minutes until most of the juice absorbs and the pork shreds easily. Remove fat from the pork with tongs, and set aside to dispose. Serve, and enjoy!

  • Play around with the seasonings to find the perfect combination you enjoy. I recommend using your favorite BBQ sauce or my homemade BBQ sauce.
  • Make sure to remove all the fat from the pork using tongs before serving.
  • When the pulled pork is done, it should shred very easily with two forks.
  • Serve pulled pork with extra BBQ sauce mixed in - it is extra delicious this way!
